Late November once again brings to Aljezur one of the region’s most cherished events: the Sweet Potato Festival. From 28 to 30 November, the Multi-Purpose Venue will once again fill with aromas, music, and that warm energy that only a truly local festival can create.
More than just a gastronomic celebration, it’s a tribute to Aljezur’s agricultural identity and to the famous Lira-variety sweet potato, a product that has been part of the locals’ lives, tables, and pride for decades.
For three days, visitors can enjoy traditional recipes and surprising creations, watch cooking demonstrations, explore local crafts, and enjoy plenty of entertainment. It’s the perfect meeting point between tradition and creativity, designed for the whole family.
